HFT Returns to China
with Multiple Float Lines

HFT signed several turnkey float glass project contracts with AVIC (Hainan) Special Glass Materials Co., Ltd. (CAG), of China. These projects will include building a new 600 MTPD Oxy-Fuel float glass and CVD Low-E glass line in addition to restoring and upgrading two existing float glass lines to manufacture premium, ultra-clear float glass and TCO glass. All projects are under PPG license and will take advantage of PPG latest technologies. The plant is located in Hainan, China

HFT Goes to Russia

HFT signed a contract to supply Caspian Flat Glass with a 600MTPD high quality float glass plant.  The glass plant is to be built in Makhachkala, Dagestan which is located on the western shore of the Caspian Sea.  This plant will be able to produce PPG quality premium float glass and SolarCoolŪ coating glass products. Henry F. Teichmann's responsibilities include turnkey engineering, procurement, and construction supervision for the complete production line. This project will be under PPG license where PPG provides float glass technology, training and licensing.

HFT Gives Refund to
World Kitchen, LLC

Henry F. Teichmann, Inc. recently completed two EPC (engineering, construction and procurements) contracts for World Kitchen, LLC at their Corning, NY plant.  Both projects were turnkey with HFT’s scope including all refractory, steel, electrical and mechanical design and construction. Under the contract, when the project came in under the pre-determined budget, HFT and WK would split the savings.  Both projects came in under budget and HFT presented WK with two refunds checks, one worth 10% of the project and the other worth 7%.

The photo to the right shows Gordon Junquist (VP of Operations, HFT) handing Dave Dietz (WK) one of the refund checks.

Henry F. Teichmann, Inc. has used this concept with several select clients on large EPC projects.  All projects have realized anywhere from 5% to 30% savings to the client.
