It is with great sadness that HFT announces the passing of Newton Teichmann. Mr. Teichmann was one of the three founding members of Henry F. Teichmann, Inc. He took great pride in the company that his bother Henry F. Teichmann, Jr., his father, Henry F. Teichmann, Sr. and he began in 1947. As a sign of his dedication to the company, Mr. Teichmann worked there for 63 years until his passing.
Prior to founding HFT, Mr. Teichmann was a graduate of Carnegie Tech, class of 1947 and a WWII Veteran. He served his country in Europe and the Philippines.
The tradition of Henry F. Teichmann, Inc. will continue with Mr. Arch McIntyre assuming the role of Chairman of the Board in addition to remaining as President of the Company. HFT will continue to be a world leading Glass Process Engineering Contractor under his leadership.
