Arch McIntyre has been with Henry F. Teichmann, Inc. for over 55 years. He has extensive experience in foreign and domestic contract negotiations, field supervision of construction, plant start-up, contract administration and finance.
Mark F. Piedmonte
Mark F. Piedmonte, President, has over 34 years of comprehensive experience in the glass industry, including float, container, and fiberglass. He first joined Henry F. Teichmann, Inc. 2001 as an Electrical Engineer and Manager of Electrical Projects, had served as Deputy Construction Manager and Vice President of Operations before becoming President. Mr. Piedmonte has served on numerous regional Electrical Industry Boards and Joint Committees, and is currently licensed in more than 20 states in the U.S.
Kathleen M. Andrews
Vice President of Finance
Kathleen M. Andrews, Vice President of Finance, has been with Henry F. Teichmann, Inc. for 29 years. She has served as the Accountant and has managed the administrative office for many years prior to her current position. Her vast experience will ensure continued strength and growth with company.
Vice President of Business Development
Daniel F. Chen started his career in the glass industry in 1983. Joining Henry F. Teichmann, Inc. in 1998, he has held various sales, marketing and business development related positions and has served as Vice President of Business Development since 2006. Mr. Chen holds a Master’s degree in economics and business from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and a Bachelor’s degree in international business from Xiamen University, China. He speaks both English and Chinese.
Vice President of Operations
As Vice President of Operations, Kevin P. Yung is responsible for the Engineering, Purchasing and Construction departments at Henry F. Teichmann, Inc. Mr. Yung first joined Henry F. Teichmann, Inc. in 2003 as a Project Engineer and has managed a number of glass projects both in the U.S. and overseas. Yung’s 17 plus years of comprehensive experience includes qualifications in float glass, container glass and fiberglass industries. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
Curt has Worked at HFT since 1987. Starting out as a Mason, he soon progressed on to Mason Supervisor. For the past 20 plus years he has worked as Field Superintendent, running major domestic and international projects; ranging from Hot Overcoats, through to Large Cold Repairs and Greenfield Factory Constructions. In 2018, Curt assumed the role as HFT’s Construction Manager. As the Construction Manager, he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the HFT Construction Department including estimating, bidding, scheduling and staffing field projects from small hot repairs to complete greenfield glass plant.
Dennis A. Weichel
Dennis Weichel has been with HFT for over 10 years holding various positions from Project Manager to Construction Manager to his current job as Engineering Manager. Prior to joining HFT, Dennis worked for a container glass manufacturer for around 30 years overseeing plant engineering, maintenance and furnace operations. As the Engineering Manager, he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the HFT Engineering Department including; developing engineering packages for global glass makers to realize their projects from small integration and upgrades, through to complete redesigns and greenfield glass plants.
Tracy Lynn Hawkins
Director of Purchasing
Tracy Lynn Hawkins, the Director of Purchasing, a long-time employee of Henry F. Teichmann, Inc. Ms. Hawkins, has over 26 years of experience in the glass industry with Teichmann. She first joined HFT in 1990 and has held a variety of positions during her career at HFT. For a number of years she was instrumental in developing both the construction and purchasing database and software that HFT uses for tracking and estimating projects.
Director of Major Projects
Bob Woelke started his career in the float glass industry in 1965. First joining Henry F. Teichmann, Inc. in 2009 as Construction Manager, he has served as Director of Major Projects since 2014. Mr. Woelke holds Bachelor’s degree in Combustion Engineer from Penn State University and PE license in Pennsylvania.
John R. Hann
E.W. Bowman Technical Director
With over 30 years of experience in the glass container industry John’s career began with Tampa Florida based Anchor Glass Container as a second-generation Lehr Specialist and Project Manager. His responsibilities included all facets of glass annealing and decorating for the entire corporation.
In 1997 John left Florida to return to his home State of Pennsylvania to join glass annealing lehr manufacturer E.W. Bowman, Inc. At Bowman John served as the company’s glass process specialist as well as technical service and sales roles. In 2010 John became the Director of Sales and Service.
Following HFT’s acquisition of E.W. Bowman’s design and technology in May of 2017, John assumed the role of Technical Director, EWB.
James E. Harris
Furnace Technical Director
James Harris graduated from Iowa State University in 1974 with a degree in Ceramic Engineering. After graduating he spent 42 years working at PPG. Starting out in their Wichita Falls, TX. Plant, he held a variety of Batch and Furnace related engineering positions, including Furnace Superintendent. In 1986 James relocated to China, where he worked in a variety of PPG Joint Venture Plants; in positions from Hot End Manager, through to General Manager. In 1999, James retuned to the USA where he worked for the PPG Corporate Engineering Team. Including 13 years as Manager of International Engineering for Float Glass Licensing. In 2016 he assumed the role of Furnace Technical Director at HFT.
Samuel Leaper has over 15 years of experience in the glass industry. During which time he has held a variety of technical and sales roles. Holding diplomas and an apprenticeship in both mechanical and electrical engineering, he began his career as an Electrical Engineer. Mr. Leaper also has extensive experience working on global projects as a Field Service Supervisor, and more recently held several sales positions from Sales Engineer, through to International Sales Manager. Mr. Leaper holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, from The University of Essex.
European Service Manager
Philip has worked within the Container glass industry for over 20 years. Initially starting out as a mechanical engineer, he gained experience in all areas of the glass process both in domestic and international markets. In 2011 he joined E.W Bowman, as a Field Service Engineer, where he supervised new lehr installations and repairs around the world. He joined the HFT team in June 2017 and is based in the UK, where he supports all European projects and clients as the European Service Manager.
