HFT provided comprehensive project management and construction services for the modernization and expansion of Owens Corning’s 300,000-square-foot fiberglass production facility in Nephi, Utah. The project expanded the plant’s capabilities to produce a broader range of fiberglass building insulation products while incorporating extensive upgrades throughout the production line.
The project included conversion from blown fiberglass insulation to batt production, upgrades to major manufacturing systems, relocation and integration of process equipment, and significant site and facility improvements. HFT also provided constructability reviews, scheduling coordination and continuous project oversight from planning through completion.

Program Management + Planning
Project management and stakeholder coordination throughout the project lifecycle, including detailed constructability reviews, interference checks, scheduling coordination and early works packages designed to advance key milestones and mitigate execution risks.
Construction
Construction supporting the modernization and expansion of the fiberglass manufacturing facility, including major site, civil and foundation work; new building and office improvements; utility infrastructure; process equipment relocation; and upgrades to furnace, binder, forming, oven, cutting and packaging systems.
